A new church building has been built at cost of GH¢206,161 and commissioned for the Manso Abore Church of Pentecost.
The Bekwai area pastor, Apostle Kenneth Baffour Antwi has since dedicated the new church building to God at colorful function. Apostle Antwi strongly appealed to the local church members to cultivate the habit of maintenance to prolong the life span of the building.
The District Chief Executive for Amansie West, Mr. Alex Kwame Bonsu, commended the Church of Pentecost for putting up such a multi-purpose church building.
Elder Frank Oduro said while giving a background to the growth of the church said the Manso Abore Church of Pentecost was established in 1991 by Elder Stephen Yaw Danso and wife, Charles Krampa, Akua Maria and Yaw Bronya.
He said the membership rose from five to 15 and later increased to about 400. He commended the support of the past District Pastor of Manso Atwere and the current District Pastor, Samuel Akuamoah Boateng, for their encouragement in completing the new church building.
