Mr. Joseph Tetteh, the newly-elected New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for the Upper Manya Krobo Constituency, has donated over 25 boxes of detergents, soap and other items, worth over GH¢2000, to the Asesewa Government Hospital.
Presenting the items, Joseph Tetteh assured management of the Asesewa Government Hospital, and the people in the area, of his continuous support to quality healthcare in the district, and urged them to continue their hard work.
Mr. Tetteh, who has made quality healthcare delivery one of his cardinal points when voted into the law making house by the constituents in the 2016 elections, reiterated that quality healthcare should not be underestimated and politicised, since everyone is likely to fall sick one way or the other.
To this end, he assured the people of the constituency of improving upon healthcare delivery in the area when voted into office, and charged them to consider him, come 2016.
Joseph Tetteh, who was accompanied by his constituency executives, appealed to the management to use the detergents to the benefit of the patients, adding that despite its small quantity, it would go a long way to help solve most of the challenges facing the hospital.
The Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Eric Boateng, commended Joseph Tetteh for his kind gesture, and further appealed for a standby generator to help address the current power outages.
In a related development, Joseph Tetteh has organised a football gala match at Otrokper for the youth of 16 teams in the constituency, as part of his quest to bring unity and peace, ahead of the elections.
At the end of the game, Obisua White Stars took first position, with jerseys and amount of GH¢500 cash, followed by Sekasua Unity F/C in second position, as well as Asesewa United and Asesewa Hard Bridge, which took the third and fourth positions respectively, with cash and footballs.
