The Men’s Fellowship of the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries (REPLIB) in Pordenone , Italy has present €400.00 Euros to King Jesus Charity Home at Boadi in Kumasi as part of their social responsibilities.
Presenting the money to the charity home, Rev Chief Amoono, the general administrator of REPLIB, disclosed that he was presenting the gesture on behalf of Pordenone REPLIB to help in the upkeep of the charity home.
He added that the gesture came into being after Pordenone REPLIB Men’s fellowship celebrated Men week in Italy. Pastor Kofi Owusu Afriyie, the director of the home, thanked the Pordenone-based REPLIB, through Rev Amonoo for the money, stressing it will go a long way to aid in the running of the home.
Updating REPLIB who about the progress of the home, Mr. Afriyie disclosed to Rev Amonoo, who has been visiting the home from time-to- time on philanthropic agenda that, 10 of the 158 inmates have completed university whiles 48 are in senior high school, with some of them learning trade.
Asked about his source of funds to keep the home running, he explained that they depend solely on donations and gesture from the public. He added that since he is a maize and cassava farmer he channels the harvest to feed the home.
While Pastor Owusu Afriyie appealed to Ghanaians to come to their aid, he urged Ghanaians not to allow politicians to use them for electoral violence. He said: Our political discussions should be devoid of vulgar language”.
