Much as education has become a must in modern day societies, access to education infrastructure for the people of Sekyere Afram Plains has become an illusion.
The Babaduasu community has managed to put up a structure, where about 250 to 300 children have been introduced to basic education.
So far, the community has supported two teachers to help the children after the school was named Babaduasu Complementary Basic Education.
However, the school, which is from class one to Junior High School (JHS), lacks permanent structures and adequate number of teachers.
The youth in the community have complained that both the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Donkor Fuseini, and the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Mr. Alex Adomako Mensah, have not bothered to address their concerns in this area.
The Concerned Youth of Sekyere Afram Plains (CYSAP) has, therefore, appealed to the Sekyere Afram Plains District Assembly and the MP to come to their aid and support the community-initiated school to enable children in the community access quality education
