16 Pass Out At Dawurnta Radio School

Sixteen students have passed out with the requisite skills to excel in the media front from the Dawurnnta Media Training Center, an emerging first-class media institute in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

The students undertook courses, including Communication Skills, Radio and Television Presentation, Broadcast Marketing, Newspaper Reporting and Events Management.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Managing Director, Mr. Ato Beecham, said the school has over the years instituted well-planned measures to enable it churn out competent graduants for the job market.

He said graduants of the school had always excelled in their respective fields of endeavours as a result of the quality of training

His outfit, he said, would, therefore, spare no effort to improve and sustain the successes chalked by the school.

He said the school would also continue to pursue its expansion policy, which includes establishing campuses in the major cities across the country.

Already, the school has established campuses in Cape Coast, Ho, Techiman and Brekum, he said.

Mr. Beecham also advised the graduants to uphold the ethics of journalism as practitioners.

“I urge you to be responsible, ethical and constructive in whatever you do,” he said, adding that, they should also strive to be innovative, in order to distinguish themselves from their colleagues.
