The Assistant Parish Priest of the Asamankese Saint Mary‘s Catholic Church in the region, Reverend Father Matthias Tetteh Djabatey, has urged Christians to live an exemplary life in order to change others.
Delivering a sermon at the Saint Mary‘s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Tetteh Djabatey said if Christians remain indifferent and allow things to go wrong, and keep quiet whilst things go wrong in workplaces, it would breed evil.
The Priest, who doubles as Parish Youth and St. Thomas Senior High School Chaplain, said the righteous may have troubles, but the Lord will deliver them from all, and protect all their bones, hence he appealed to Christians to change their negative attitude towards work, especially, in the public sector, to increase productivity and create more jobs for the jobless.
In a related development, the Catholic Bishop for the Koforidua Diocese, Most Rev. Bishop Joseph Afrifa Agyekum, would visit the St. Mary‘s Parish from 8th to 11th October 2015, where he would interact with parishioners, catholic school pupils and their teachers and other dignitaries.
