Sharky’s Automobile, Training Centre Commissioned

Edward Poku-CEO  Sharkys AutomobileSharky’s Automobile and Training Centre has been opened at Bomso in Kumasi to offer training in automobile repairs for the youth.
Mr. Edward Poku, who is an American-trained Ghanaian auto mechanic and owns the facility, which has modern equipment for auto repairs, is currently supervising the training of 15 youth.

He has urged entrepreneurs to create employment avenues to absorb the unemployed youth in the country, saying that is the only way they could complement the efforts of the government to improve upon the lot of the people.

Mr. Poku, 52, who trained in America and Canada as auto mechanic, says Sharky’s Automobile is the result of his resolve to return home after 22 years to create employment for the youth.

He called on successful businessmen home and abroad to assist the youth secure a better future. According to him, imparting acquired knowledge to the youth would contribute positively towards self dependence and the development of the country.
