Unibank has presented a 42-inch LED flat screen television to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
The donation followed a cleanup exercise embarked upon by over 40 members of staff of Unibank at the medical facility last Saturday to clean the precincts of the hospital.
Mrs. Manu Bea Twumasi, who presented the TV to the Director of Administration at KATH, Mr. George Tetteh, said the gesture and the clean up exercise was part of the bank’s social responsibility.
She noted that KATH is facility which serves the northern sector of Ghana, so it was prudent to assist it in any way possible, in line with corporate social responsibility. Mr. Tetteh, on behalf of KATH, expressed gratitude to the bank, and called on other organisations to emulate the example.
