The presenter who is an actor, movie producer and philanthropist, also answers to the accolade of ‘Unofficial Mayor’ of Kumasi bestowed on him by Maxwell Kofi Jumah, then Mayor of Kumasi, and former Member of Parliament for Asokwa Constituency in Ashanti Region, for his contribution towards the development of Kumasi.
Frankie Taylor has won many awards both home and abroad, including “The Outstanding Leadership Award dubbed Nsoroma Award” by Global Center for Transformational Leadership and 2014 Ghana DJ’s award Best Music Promoter of the year 2014, by Mercury Events.
Frankie Taylor started his active radio career with Radio Biyac 94.1 at Akyem Oda, the first private radio station in the Eastern Region, in 1995. As a presenter at Radio Biyac, he rose to become the first Programmes Director, and later joined Fox 97.9 FM in 1999.
He has held the Programme Director position at Fox FM for more than 13 years with great success, and also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Royals Production, which specialises in film and music production, as well as Events Management.

He underscored that T.B. Joshua inspires him through his teachings and books.
Taylor advised the up and coming presenters not to be copy cats, but be themselves and work hard and never rush in life.
