Mr. and Mrs. Lady Boutique, a popular boutique in the Kumasi Metropolis, has celebrated the 24 anniversary of its establishment.
The company, founded by Hajia Ramatu Abdul Rahman with the Manhyia Traffic Light branch, can now boast of three other branches at Akwatialine near the Central Mosque, Aboabo No. 1. opposite the BP filling station and Aboabo No. 2. Mr. and Lady Boutique deals in Jalabia clothes, jewels, sandals, Abayi and Islamic costumes.
As part of the anniversary celebration of the Boutique, Hajia Ramatu Rahman was honoured by FOMWAG, an Islamic women’s wing, and the Ashanti Region branch of the Ghana Moslem Students Association (GMSA), during which her benevolence to the inmates of the Jamasi School of the Blind was acknowledged.
In a citation by the GMSA, the Moslem students acknowledged Hajia Ramatu’s contribution, sacrifice and devotion towards the development of the association and the development of Islam in the region as a whole. They described the CEO of Mr. and Lady Boutique as a mentor worthy of emulation.
